There are times when I may have to deny service to someone because certain nail, skin or medical conditions are present. Regardless of how you may have been handled at other nail establishments, Nail Technicians are expressly forbidden by most State statutes, Florida’s included, to render services in certain, specific cases. This is not only for your health and safety, but also that of those providing services for you, and for the public in general. Thank you in advance for your understanding.
- Persons under the age of 18 who want to receive services must have their parent or legal guardian’s signature on their Client Intake Form (a confidential questionnaire/form that all new, first-time Talonted clients must complete) to show their concurrence with services being performed for/on the minor. No exceptions.
- Please do not bring children (or other extra persons) with you to your appointment. There are always possible exceptions, but I ask that you notify me in advance if at all possible. Your appointment time is strictly meant to be yours and shouldn't have to be spent watching over children or entertaining others. Plus, there are just too many temptations in a salon environment that pose risks and dangers to little ones.
- No personal checks are accepted.
- If it’s been 4-weeks or more since your last Talonted fill, particularly if nails are damaged/missing, a full set charge may be applicable.
- If you are ever unhappy with your Talonted experience, for any reason, I ask that you please make this known to me and allow me the opportunity to rectify the situation. Please do this as early as possible. Many times misunderstanding and miscommunication are the culprits of what would be an otherwise satisfactory experience.
- LATE/NO-SHOW POLICY - A 10-minute grace period is given for all appointments. If you are unable to arrive within 10 minutes of your scheduled appointment time, and have not coordinated with me, your appointment will be canceled and you will need to reschedule, if you so desire. The card that was used to secure your appointment will be charged a fee that amounts to 25% of the cost for the service(s) that you scheduled and did not show for/cancel.
If you are unable to keep your appointment, please give a minimum 24-hour advance notice. If it is less than 24 hours from your appointment, please send an email to talontednails@cox.net. (At this time there is no telephone availability). It is your responsibility to ensure that successful notification has been made. Repeated late and/or no-show (without prior notification) incidents are not tolerated and offenders will have to find another place of business for their nail services.
